In Shambhala Training I: The Art of Being Human we glimpse unconditional goodness as the ground of our existence through the practice of meditation. As we open to ourselves with gentleness and appreciation, we begin to see our potential as genuine and compassionate human beings.
Today’s world is characterized by a lot of speed, unrest, aggression and conflict. The root of these is a loss of connection with ones own basic worth and with ones own good human heart. Shambhala Training is a way to reconnect with the basic goodness of being human in a simple and deep way. It is also called : “the way of the warrior“ because one learns to develop fearlessness and gentleness towards oneself and others.
Through the practice of mindfulness and awareness you learn to open to the magic of ordinary everyday life and you learn to live in the challenge and approach your life in a wise and compassionate manner.
Shambhala is a path that links personal transformation to social transformation. How can our personal work on ourselves also influence our environment and the society we are living in? We will explore this during the weekend.
The weekend includes: Talks and discussions with an experienced teacher, individual and group instructions and guided meditations, group exchange and eating together.
No previous experience in meditation required. This program is OPEN TO ALL! Teaching will be in ENGLISH with bi-directional Hungarian translation.
Our teacher: Sarah Coleman, has been a student of the Venerable Chögyam Trungpa, Rinpoche, and his son, Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, since 1972.
